Mended Arrows is a barber college with a mission to provide barbering education to people who are at risk so that they may become self sufficient and role models.

Why a Barbering Academy?

Mended Arrows Academy of Barbering offers something unique to Indianapolis. There are countless men, women, and children who can be helped — not just by clothing them or feeding them (when they will hunger again) — but by putting something into them.

We teach the skilled trade of barbering to empower individuals to feed themselves for a lifetime and to create a legacy of self-respect, self-worth, and self-sufficiency. Our students discover how to become better men and women, and they learn how to overcome barriers through education, empowerment, and entrepreneurship.

Our graduates gain the power of influence. They possess the ability to skillfully groom all textures of hair, and also know how to speak a kind word and offer encouragement to those who sit in their chairs.

They become business owners who know how to manage their shops. They also become leaders who know how to manage themselves, their families, and their neighborhoods. They become influencers who spread the legacy of fathering and mothering into their communities and make Fort Wayne a better place.
